The ones who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.- Steve Jobs
Torque is a measure of how much a force acting on an object (say a rotor) causes that object to rotate.
Speed is a measure of how much a force acting on an object causes that object to move from one place to another.
Torque | Speed |
---|---|
Ta = ΦIa | N = lEa / Φ |
As Flux increases, armature Torque increases. | As Flux increases, speed decreases. |
Torque is unconcerned of speed. | Speed is concerned of Torque. |
Torque is a vector quantity because torque have both direction and magnitude. | Speed is a scalar quantity because Speed have only direction. |
